Colombian Authorities Believe That the Death of Taylor Hawkins, Drummer for the Foo Fighters, Is Linked to Drug Use!


It seems possible that narcotics were involved in the horrific murder of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, according to police.

He was found dead in his hotel room at the Casa Medina in Bogota, Colombia, on Friday. Heartbroken admirers gathered outside in astonishment to pay their respects to Hawkins, 50.

“According to those who were close to him, the death could have been caused by drug consumption,” the Metropolitan Police of Bogota said in a statement that was carried by several news outlets in the South American nation and reported by the Mirror of London.

The Foo Fighters canceled their scheduled performance at the Picnic Stereo Festival in Bogotá on Friday, only hours after learning of the tragedy.

On March 18, the band performed at Lollapalooza Chile, and on March 20, they performed at Lollapalooza Argentina. On Sunday, they will perform as the opening act at Lollapalooza Brasil.
