Due to the tremendous lineup of talent participating, this upcoming series will surely be worth watching. What we do know thus far is as follows.
When Will Pachinko Become Available?
On January 26, 2022, Apple TV+ stated that the first three episodes of Pachinko will be available on the platform on March 25, 2022. A new episode will be published every Friday afterwards, until the season concludes on April 29.
What Is The Storyline Behind Pachinko?
Pachinko chronicles the storey of a Korean family that immigrated to Japan during Japan’s occupation of a then-unified Korea and subsequent participation in World War II. Although the storey begins in 1883, the majority of the novel takes place between 1910 and 1989.
Pachinko’s primary attraction is Lee’s excellent handling of the different personalities included inside this timeline. Sunja is the protagonist, and her journey to Japan in the midst of poverty illustrates the country’s deep-seated prejudice against Koreans.
Her narrative is interwoven with that of Hansu, a mystery Korean businessman born into a prosperous Japanese family, as well as a cast of other Korean and Japanese characters.
